Meet at Glendalough village at the appointed time and finish at the same place
Mixed terrain, starting on a wide good trail through beautiful old forest parallel to the magnificent Glendasan river. Then leading on to some uneven ground, heading uphill initially, on a narrower trail followed by a boardwalk and some steps. As we peak and start downhill, we will have the stunning views of the lakes and valley below. If the sky is clear, we will have a starlight sky above. Perfect for taking in all the incredible energy that will surround us.
Finally back on to a wide trail and past the upper lake and after the sandy beach, we will visit one of the most important churches of old Glendalough, the Reefort and burial place of the ancient clans. Depending on the time and the group we will eventually head back to the ancient monastic city and wander through this very special and spiritual place, all to ourselves. Finally, back to the cars and onwards to your destination for a perfect night of fun.
